Video on Stream Pausing and Continuing

Hi,
My name is Mohammed Shuaib, I'm an Independent Advisor and I understand from the description that you're having a problem with Video Playback. Please follow all the below fixes one by one to resolve the issue.

Fix #1:
Step 1:
Go to search box next to Windows icon and type CMD

Step 2:
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run As Administrator

Step 3:
Type msdt.exe -id DeviceDiagnostic and press enter.

Fix #2:
Step 1:
Go to search box next to Windows icon and type Troubleshoot

Step 2:
Click on Troubleshoot

Step 3:
Then select Video Playback and click Run the Troubleshooter

Thank you for replying.

I ran the command prompt as suggested and restarted the device as the trouble shooter suggested. The problem seemed to still exist so I carried on with your other steps and ran the manual troubleshooter which said that HEVC codec is not installed in my pc. Why is that a problem now, since I have been viewing videos and listening to songs for more than two years now.

I have restarted the pc and seems to fine for now. I will let you know if sth happens.

I also cannot move my cursor when this lag happens and to solve that I have connected an external mouse which seems to solve that issue, however, the audio and video still seem to pause on its own free fill. Someone told me that its a bluetooth related issue since I always connect my bluetooth speakers to the laptop but the issue still exists when i use it without the speakers.

Your help and assistance will be appreciated.
